Legends tell a captivating tale about the Jatoli Shiva Temple. It is believed that Lord Shiva himself visited this spot seeking solace in ancient times. In the mid-20th century, a saint named Swami Krishnananda Paramahamsa arrived, drawn by an invisible force. Under his guidance, the construction of the temple began in 1974. Although Swami Krishnananda passed away in 1983, the temple management committee continued the construction, and after 39 years, the Jatoli Shiva Temple stood tall as a testament to unwavering devotion and meticulous craftsmanship.

From then till today, there has never been a problem of water in Jatoli. Not only this, it is said that by drinking this water, even the most serious diseases can be cured.
